Take Me Higher by Thomas Sabo

Finally Thomas Sabo has succeeded in cracking NASA’s monopoly. Cute little flying saucers, enchanting rockets and glittering space robots orbited into planet fashion.

Revealing their Spring/Summer Collection for 2008, the creative direction draws on space adventure, eastern culture, celtic influences and French elegance.

My favourite is the ‘East Meets West’ collection. I love this piece. I’ve been searching for a dragon pendant for a while now but most of those I’ve seen are either too rugged & masculine or too old-fashioned & fengshui-ish looking. This one is a mix of strong elements subdued by soft feminine colours. Very modern and contemporary. An addition to my Wish list. Wonder how much it costs.

‘The It-Girl on the Beach’ collection. So chic!

In conjunction with the launch, Thomas Sabo Foundation pledged Euro 10,000 per year for the next five consecutive years towards the education of underprivileged Malaysian children. Thomas Sabo presented a mock cheque of Euro 50,000 to the Kiwanis Club Damansara which also adopts the Kiwanis international credo of ‘Serving the Children of the World’.

Didn’t mingle much. Dunno why…just didn’t feel sociable that night.

With Hung Shen. My face so red here like a tomato.

With Esther, a crazy new friend I met that night.

Expression of the Day

I feel more alive when I’m writing than I do at any other time —except when I’m making love. Two things when you forget time, when nothing exists except the moment—the moment of writing, the moment of love. That perfect concentration is bliss. - May Sarton -
